The book ARCHIPELAGO OF HOPE: STORIES FROM THE EDGE OF OUR CHANGING PLANET describes diverse Indigenous communities around the world innovating and implementing creative solutions to the many challenges of climate change. Though culturally and ecologically fitting to their specific circumstances, their responses are ultimately relevant to the rest of us. The book hopes to inspire readers to think more clearly and practically about the kind of climate change-related projects possible in their own communities.
Conversations with the Earth (CWE) is an Indigenous-led multimedia initiative that amplifies Indigenous voices in the global discourse on ecological and cultural challenges facing the planet, including climate change. CWE is a way of listening closely to traditional custodians of the world’s biocultural diversity in order to formulate viable global responses.
